Prayers That Open Doors

Acts 5:17-20 NKJV
[17] Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with indignation, [18] and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. [19] But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, [20] “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”
Matthew 9:38
[38] Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Every moment that we are praying we are releasing a Apostolic spirit upon the church.

Acts 12:1-5 NKJV
[1] Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. [2] Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. [3] And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. [4] So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. [5] Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

Jesus prayed for the Lord to SEND laborers.
Luke 10:2 KJV
[2] Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

The apostolic revolves around the concept of sending and being sent.
1.Sent Moses into Egypt.

2. Sent prophets to Israel.

3. Sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus

4. God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world.

5. He sent the Holy spirit to help us

Apostolic prayers are strategic prayer

1.Bringing revelation to the church by praying with authority

We pray today for things we have never seen before.
Our prayers are stronger and deeper because of revelation.

2. Warfare prayer
Colossians 4:12 KJV
[12] Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Epaphras labored in prayer for the Colossian church.
(Struggle or contended with the adversary in behave of the church.

Contended with the powers of darkness in prayer.)

APOSTOLIC PRAYERS BREAK THE RESISTANCE IN REGIONS THAT HAVE BEEN HELD CAPTIVE BY THE POWERS OF DARKNESS.

3. Praying Unceasing
1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
[17] Pray without ceasing.
They prayer dose not rest until the plan and purpose of God are complete.

Praying for an apostolic release

[31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Sign and wonders were release
Prayers not only releases the apostolic spirit; (it SUSTAINS AN
APOSTOLIC MOVEMENT.)
Prayer releases spiritual impetus and momentum.
Acts 4:33 KJV
[33] And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

The Apostles Gave themselves continually in prayer
Acts 6:4 KJV
[4] But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Complacency is dangerous
What is dose
1. Saps energy
2. Dulls attitude
3. Causes a drain on the brain. (Become satisfied on how things are)
4. Rejects Things as they might be
5. Makes people fear the unknown
6. Mistrust the untried
7. Abhor the new
8.People draw false strength from looking back
Ephesians 5:14 NKJV
[14] Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

The result of them praying was an apostolic of great power and great grace.

Isaiah 56:7 KJV
[7] Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Churches are being raised up in America that will be houses of prayer.

Then we can ask God for the nations.
Psalm 2:8 KJV
[8] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Prayer can not only release the apostolic spirit; it sustained an apostolic moment. prayer releases spiritual impetus:(the force that makes thing happen): and momentum

Apostolic Prayer
*The apostolic prayer is a strategic prayer; It brings revelation to the church to fulfill the plans and purpose of the lord)

* It is unceasing prayer: It does not rest until the plans and purposes of God are complete 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
[17] Pray without ceasing.

Intercession Belongs to man

God has Given man not only the authority but also the responsibility to influence event in the earth for the glory of God.

The Apostolic Anointing: Have the heart of a finisher.
John 4:34 KJV
[34] Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Completing the work of the ministry
Paul was determined to finish his course
Acts 20:22-24 KJV
[22] And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me I there: [23] Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. [24] But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

The church must have the mind set to overcome every obstacle that stand in the way of the mission.
